Teacher of Art & Design – Fixed term until 28/05/2027

Salary: £35,022 – £52,740 | Hours: 12.31 per week
Responsibilities
* Teach Art & Design to pupils, inspiring them to reach their full potential.
* Incorporate Photography into the curriculum where possible.
* Work primarily on Wednesdays and Fridays.
* Integrate digital skills using a 1‑to‑1 device digital journey to enhance student engagement and learning.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and extend the range of extra‑curricular clubs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified and motivated teacher with a passion for Art & Design.
* Experience teaching photography is desirable.
* Experience integrating digital skills into teaching practice.
* Active interest in current educational developments and commitment to raising attainment.
Additional Information
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Applicants will be required to join the PVG Scheme or provide an update check. Applicants who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last five years must provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
Salaries will be set in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
