Overview
We are recruiting a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to support patients undergoing revision knee surgery within our Complex Orthopaedic Revision Networks. These fixed-term roles provide expert, patient-centred care for patients undergoing low-volume, high-complexity procedures and those experiencing postoperative complications, including periprosthetic joint infection. Working within a designated sub-specialty and as part of a wider CNS team, the post-holders will coordinate care across the patient pathway, work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, microbiology and the wider MDT, support regional units to meet national standards, coordinate established MDT meetings, contribute to service development, undertake data collection and reporting, and deliver education to staff, patients and families.
