Mobile apprentice fitter
Purpose of the role
To train as an engineering operative apprentice to Level 3 standard, undertaking a structured training program of academic study, workshop, and on-site work to gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours. The role involves carrying out planned maintenance and inspection duties, keeping accurate records, and resolving potential problems to maximise plant availability and minimise unplanned downtime.
Key accountabilities
* Handle verbal and written enquiries efficiently, effectively, politely, and accurately.
* Handle haulier enquiries to resolution in a timely manner.
* Process all admin accurately within deadlines.
* Liaise with transport and operational staff to ensure efficient completion of administrative tasks.
* Produce relevant reports timely as required by management.
* Maintain good relationships with drivers and traffic staff of service providers.
* Manage change of master data accurately.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Education/Qualification
* Minimum of Grade 4+ equivalent to a C at GCSE in Maths and English.
