The Role
The Governance Services Team is seeking to appoint Minute Clerks to join a casual pool. This role offers an opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and supplement their income by working around existing employment and family commitments.
The post holder will attend school governing and trust board meetings on an ad-hoc, flexible basis, taking notes and preparing minutes. Payment includes up to 1.5 hours for preparation, the meeting duration (approximately 2 hours), and up to 3 hours for completing the minutes. Meetings occur at various times throughout the day and early evening.

About You
You should be capable of attending meetings, taking notes, and producing high-quality minutes. The ability to present information clearly and assertively is essential. Supporting meeting procedures and understanding the role of governors and trustees is desirable; training will be provided if needed.
You must demonstrate initiative, good organisational skills, and proficiency in word processing and Microsoft Word. Evening work may be required. Applicants should have access to a personal computer with Microsoft Word.
