Role Overview: Children’s Support Worker
Your role involves working closely with children in care, focusing on their well-being and development. You will support them in educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities, contributing to positive outcomes and shaping their future.
We seek highly motivated, committed individuals with a genuine interest in providing top-quality care for children and young people. You will work across various settings, including Mental Health, Autism, Challenging Behaviour, Education, and Residential care.

Responsibilities
* Supporting, safeguarding, and promoting the well-being of children and young people
* Assisting with daily routines in community or educational settings
* Organising and facilitating social activities
* Providing transportation
* Working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe practice
* Offering supervision and support
* Working in line with Ofsted and CQC regulations
* Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention
* Contributing to care plans and risk assessments, including reviews and implementation
Candidate Requirements
* At least 12 months of post-qualification experience working with children or young adults
* Must be over 21 years old to meet industry regulations
* Knowledge in areas such as EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
* Diploma Level 3 in children and young people; Level 4 is desirable
* An enhanced DBS check (application fee of £45.40, refundable after 100 hours worked)
