Line Up Aviation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on a 12‑month contract based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement within our industrial wing manufacturing operations, ensuring on‑time, on‑cost delivery.

Responsibilities
* Provide support for technical issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Engage support function roles in the continuous improvement routines of the production team.
* Support capacity management and design consultation.
* Execute robust, reliable and safe operations in close collaboration with the production teams.
* Analyse and optimise existing manufacturing systems.
* Define component/part specifications for new jigs and tools.
* Develop and deploy capability for new product introduction.
* Define build processes for the manufacturing team and introduce manufacturing best practices.
Essential Skills
* Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar field) is preferable.
* Equivalent HND/HNC or NVQ qualification in Engineering is also acceptable.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in the aerospace or automotive industry and within manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of industrial processes and standards specific to the aerospace sector is desirable.
* Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and change in complex manufacturing environments.
* Proactive approach to driving efficiency and resolving production issues.
