Robert Half are currently recruiting for a business based in Gloucester who are looking for an Interim Assistant Accountant to join for a short term assignment. This is for a part-time opportunity.
**This is a part time opportunity - Ideal is 3 days a week however flexible to work around hours/days**
Role: Assistant Accountant
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000
Duration: 1 month definitely - With potential to extend
Start date: ASAP
Working pattern: Office based, part-time position ideally for 3 days however open to 2 or 3 days split across the 5 day week etc
This role will involve:
1. · Management of the sales and purchase ledger, including monitoring of outstanding sales invoices
2. · bank payments for approval
3. · bank receipts and payments
4. · Monthly bank account and petty cash reconciliations
5. · supplier statement reconciliations
6. · Monthly payroll journals
7. · staff expenses
8. · Depending on experience - Monthly accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income adjustments
Experience needed:
9. QuickBooks
10. Maintenance of ledgers - Purchase & sales
11. Month end experience, journals, accruals etc - Desirable
12. Expense collations software - Desirable
