Technical & Development Technician Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Basic Salary: £29,420 per annum Overtime available Reporting to: Development Section Manager Shifts: Days, Full time (Monday to Friday) 8.30 am till 16:30 pm 37 days Holiday including statutory bank holiday. This exciting role for a Technical & Development Technician needs to be competent in working with a minimum amount of supervision, and able to self-manage their workload as well as working alongside the development team. Responsibilities for the Technical & Development Technician role: Work towards and support the clients vision and objectives. Responsible for manufacturing and developing new products from the early stage through to bulk production. Help with the introduction of new items and products to the factory floor. Working to and generating specifications and techniques. Ability to use initiative and be creative. Communicate with all team members through the design and development stages. Qualifications & Experience: Technical & Development background A Textile Manufacturing and/or Manufacturing background advantageous Textile weaving machinery knowledge advantageous.
