Protocol Education is seeking creative-minded teaching assistants, such as those with backgrounds in acting, drama, or music, to work in primary schools in Westerham.
As a teaching assistant, you will support students both one-to-one and within classroom settings, fostering a positive and engaging environment. Your role will involve encouraging student development, engaging in sensory play and interaction, understanding social cues and skills, and teaching independent living skills to students with special needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, severe learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.
We are looking for candidates who can apply their creative skills within early years and primary settings to provide an engaging and fulfilling learning experience.
Main Duties:
1. Engaging students through interactive and creative activities
2. Helping with sensory integration within the classroom
3. Working with teachers to assess pupils' levels and abilities
4. Ensuring the school's ethos and policies are implemented
5. Liaising with parents and carers

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanency later.
