Purpose of Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bilingual Receptionist to join our established team based in Cardiff.
This is a key front-of-house role requiring excellent communication, administrative, and customer service skills.
Job Description
As the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and guests, you will play an important role in creating a professional and welcoming environment while supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the site.
A professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
1. Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to staff, visitors, and guests.
2. Handle customer enquiries and situations in a polite, positive, and helpful manner.
3. Arrange travel and accommodation bookings as required.
4. Provide administrative support to the wider team when needed.
5. Maintain accurate records and follow reporting procedures.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues and support team operations.
7. Be flexible and available to cover shifts for other team members at short notice where required.
8. Act as a brand ambassador by maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
9. Ensure personal appearance and uniform are clean, tidy, and professional.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
10. Fluent Welsh (Cymraeg) and English communication skills, both verbal and written.
11. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
12. Positive attitude towards learning and personal development.
13. Good organisational and time management skills.
14. Flexible, friendly, and professional approach to work.
15. Awareness of health & safety and environmental responsibilities.
16. Willingness to participate in PDRs and take ownership of personal learning and development.
