Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Land Manager / Surveyor to join our Land Assembly team in Glasgow and play a key role in delivering complex, highâprofile infrastructure projects across Scotland.
The Role
This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from rural to urban environments, supporting utilities, transport, renewable energy and regeneration schemes. You will be part of collaborative, multiâdisciplinary project teams, providing practical land advice, engaging directly with landowners and stakeholders, and helping clients secure the land access and rights they need to deliver their projects.
Youâll also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise across compulsory purchase, land rights, compensation, negotiation and habitat management agreements, while building a strong foundation for longerâterm career progression within Ardent.
What Youâll Be Doing
* Supporting the delivery of land-related activities across infrastructure and regeneration projects
* Liaising with landowners and occupiers, serving notices, negotiating access and agreeing land rights
* Managing stakeholder engagement and responding to public enquiries with professionalism and care
* Assisting with project financial processes, including project hygiene, timesheets and expenses
* Providing advice to clients on land access, land rights and related processes
* Leading negotiations and progressing agreements to successful completion
* Mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledgeâsharing and professional development
* Supporting business growth through excellent service delivery and client relationships
About You
Youâll be a driven land professional with a strong interest in infrastructure and a genuine desire to grow your technical and commercial skills in a supportive environment.
Youâll ideally bring:
* Experience or knowledge of land access, land rights, wayleaves, easements, licences and compensation
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging a wide range of stakeholders
* An understanding of infrastructure projects and the wider regulatory or policy environment
* A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn and develop people leadership skills
* The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service
