📍 Location: Glasgow

⏰ Full Time - Permanent

💼 Salary: Competitive

Ardent is the UK’s leading provider of land, consent management and stakeholder engagement services, supporting major infrastructure and regeneration projects from concept to delivery. Established in 1992, we work across transport, renewables, utilities and regeneration, partnering with some of the UK and Ireland’s most influential organisations to deliver projects that improve connectivity, enable net zero, regenerate communities and create lasting social value.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Land Manager / Surveyor to join our Land Assembly team in Glasgow and play a key role in delivering complex, high‑profile infrastructure projects across Scotland.

The Role

This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from rural to urban environments, supporting utilities, transport, renewable energy and regeneration schemes. You will be part of collaborative, multi‑disciplinary project teams, providing practical land advice, engaging directly with landowners and stakeholders, and helping clients secure the land access and rights they need to deliver their projects.

You’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise across compulsory purchase, land rights, compensation, negotiation and habitat management agreements, while building a strong foundation for longer‑term career progression within Ardent.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Supporting the delivery of land-related activities across infrastructure and regeneration projects
* Liaising with landowners and occupiers, serving notices, negotiating access and agreeing land rights
* Managing stakeholder engagement and responding to public enquiries with professionalism and care
* Assisting with project financial processes, including project hygiene, timesheets and expenses
* Providing advice to clients on land access, land rights and related processes
* Leading negotiations and progressing agreements to successful completion
* Mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge‑sharing and professional development
* Supporting business growth through excellent service delivery and client relationships

About You

You’ll be a driven land professional with a strong interest in infrastructure and a genuine desire to grow your technical and commercial skills in a supportive environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

* Experience or knowledge of land access, land rights, wayleaves, easements, licences and compensation
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging a wide range of stakeholders
* An understanding of infrastructure projects and the wider regulatory or policy environment
* A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn and develop people leadership skills
* The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service
