Strong understanding of current design standards and working practices, including British and European Standards. Theoretical and practical experience across concept design, detailed design, and construction stages for electrical engineering projects, ideally within industrial and/or maritime environments. Experience assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazard withstand capability. Demonstrated capability in authoring robust technical justifications and supporting documentation to enable approval of electrical design modifications within a high-hazard industry. Experience working on multi-discipline engineering projects and providing integrated electrical engineering input.
Experience (Desirable)
Prior experience within nuclear, defence, or comparable high-hazard regulated environments. Familiarity with safety case development tools and methodologies (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP).
