What is involved
1. Assist in production line quality investigations and associated problem-solving activities.
2. Perform inspection of surgical instruments.
3. Coordinate and conduct in-process and final QC product acceptance testing, depending on facility.
4. Investigate production line stoppages to identify corrective actions.
5. Identify and document product and process non-conformances.
6. Participate on a Material Review Board to review and process non-conformance reports.
7. Review DHRs and support batch record release.
8. Enter and retrieve quality data from local and global systems.
9. Perform site calibration activities and recordkeeping.
10. Execute environmental monitoring processes and recordkeeping.
11. Verify calculations, dose ranges, dosimeter placements, and special instructions prior to processing and final product release.
12. Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
* Ability to generate detailed, high-quality documentation.
* Ability to work with others in analyzing and solving technical problems.
* Teamwork: Collaborates with others and supports team actions professionally.
* Effectively manages work tasks, is detail-oriented, and strives for continuous improvement.
* PC experience and familiarity with common desktop applications including Excel and Word.
* Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing or repair environment or other technical production tasks with a high school diploma or equivalent, or minimum of one year of experience with a relevant degree.
