The Role: Provide targeted emotional and wellbeing support to students on a one-to-one and small-group basis Support pupils experiencing challenges such as anxiety, low mood, attendance concerns, or behavioural barriers to learning Work closely with pastoral teams, SEN staff, safeguarding leads, and external agencies Monitor and record student progress, contributing to support plans and reviews Promote positive mental health strategies, resilience, and self-regulation Support student transitions, reintegration, and early intervention programmes Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience working with young people in a pastoral, wellbeing, youth work, counselling, or support role Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting professional relationships A calm, empathetic, and solution-focused approach Confidence handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality A strong understanding of safeguarding and student wellbeing This role would suit individuals from backgrounds such as youth work, mental health support, psychology, counselling, social care, or education support.
