Senior Accountant – Coventry (Hybrid)
Salary up to £45,000 (Negotiable, depending on experience level).
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who’s got an amazing opportunity for a Senior Accountant who has a passion for corporate tax. You will take ownership of a portfolio focused mainly on corporate accounts and corporation tax returns.
Role Requirements
* Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies.
* Drafting corporation tax computations and CT600s.
* Managing a portfolio of corporate clients.
* Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
* Reviewing work prepared by junior team members where required.
* Supporting students and contributing to workflow management.
* Preparation of management accounts and other ad-hoc assignments to support the firm’s advisory services.
* The work is predominantly corporate focused, not personal tax heavy.
Personal Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in UK accountancy practice.
* ACA or ACCA students actively studying will be considered.
* The ideal candidate will not only come with a passion for traditional accounting but also for real-time reporting to aid meaningful conversations with clients.
* Strong experience preparing corporate accounts.
* Experience drafting corporation tax returns.
