This respected offshore firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to lead the insolvency team within its highly respected Bermuda litigation practice. You will be a skilled litigator and a confident courtroom advocate, and you will have significant specialist experience of insolvency work, as well as the gravitas to build a rapport with current and potential clients.
This is a senior role (potentially Counsel or Junior Partner for the right person) and it offers a clear path for progression, making it ideal for someone who is career minded and ambitious, but who is seeking a different lifestyle and balance outside of work.
Requirements
* Overseas lawyers (solicitor advocate or barrister) must be admitted in the UK/Ireland or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or South Africa.
* It is expected that the right person will have at least 12 years’ relevant experience, and it is stressed that more senior candidates are also encouraged to apply.
* Strong advocacy skills are essential, and you will have significant experience of handling insolvency related disputes. Experience of general commercial disputes would also be an asset.
