Greater Peterborough Network is looking for a skilled Administrator / Care Coordinator to join us in supporting our many Primary and Planned Care services.

This role involves working Monday to Friday in a busy, fast-paced office in Peterborough City Centre, with possible travel to other sites. You will work alongside an Admin team supporting our Operational and Clinical teams with the delivery of various primary care services across Peterborough.
The role includes working with different services and mainly involves general Admin Support duties such as telephone support, handling referrals, planning clinics, and managing incoming phone calls.
Main duties of the job
1. Booking and arranging appointments for patients
2. Printing clinical paperwork for clinics and home visits
3. Accurately entering health information into patient records
4. Handling incoming referrals and helping to coordinate work and clinic lists for clinical staff
5. Calling patients to confirm upcoming appointments and gather feedback on services
6. Managing a high volume of incoming calls and queries
7. Working with and liaising with Peterborough GP Practices

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Polite and clear telephone manner
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced admin role handling multiple tasks
* Good IT skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; ability to learn new systems
* Experience in a public-facing role or providing excellent customer service
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
* Accurate data entry and attention to detail
* Reliable and understanding of confidentiality
* Previous NHS admin or reception experience is beneficial but not essential
* Experience with SystmOne is desirable but not essential

Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 per year, depending on experience
