My client is seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Manager to join their team in Portsmouth, ensuring accurate financial management and providing strategic financial guidance Client Details Our client is a large-sized organisation based in Portsmouth and they are seeking some interim support within their finance function. Description Oversee the overall financial management, planning, systems, and controls. Manage budgeting process. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, and special analyses. Ensure financial compliance within regulations. Provide financial outlook reports and financial forecasts. Manage and coordinate the annual audit process. Work with the senior leadership team on strategic financial planning.Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: Ideally a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Be working towards a professional qualification or be qualified by experience Experience in financial management and reporting activities. Knowledge of accounting in accordance with UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation. A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
