Join our team as a Shop Distribution Manager at our Derby Normanton Drive store! We are offering a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent position. If you're passionate about making an impact and have a love for charity retail, this could be the role for you.
As Shop Distribution Manager, you will:
* Develop in-store systems and promote donations and sales to maximize profits.
* Represent Mencap as an efficient and charitable organization, reinforcing its aims and values.
* Ensure stock is generated from the local area and donors.
* Sign up donors to the Gift Aid scheme to maximize income.
* Achieve profit targets by maximizing sales and managing costs.
* Maintain high standards of store presentation.
* Build and train an effective volunteer team, including paid staff and volunteers.
* Handle all financial, cash, health and safety responsibilities.
To succeed in this role, you should be:
* An experienced manager capable of managing budgets and completing financial documentation, preferably with charity retail experience.
* Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Passionate about Mencap's values and committed to the success of our retail brand.
* Capable of managing logistics, vans, and stock allocation within the area to maximize income.
