Key Responsibilities
You'll be joining our team of around 350 colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include:
Apply effective decision making (in line with key strategies and frameworks/GDPR), collating and analysing a range of information to detect fraudulent activity.
Work closely with colleagues across the team and wider HMRC to deliver against stretching targets.
Prioritise your own work, based on risk, looking for opportunities for smarter working, to make our processes more efficient.
Take ownership of your own development, supporting your colleagues where required to upskill.
Note: Responsibilities may differ by role and could include travel from your home office and occasional overnight stays.

Sift

Interview
During the panel interview, you will be asked specific questions to assess your experience in a particular aspect of the role. Online Tests – Banked Scores
When an applicant has a banked score they are not asked to retake the same test, providing it is:
set at the same job level, and
within the same system.
Scores will be banked for six months, or until a new score benchmark is applied, whichever is sooner. This means that if a candidate applies for another vacancy at this grade they may not have to retake the test within that time, and their previous score will be used for the new vacancy.

Hybrid working at HMRC
