About this role
The School of Hair, Beauty and Creative is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible full‑time lecturer to join our contemporary, forward‑thinking, and high‑achieving team at our Luton Campus. Working closely with our students, stakeholders, and employers, you will strive for continuous improvement and higher standards for the benefit of the whole community. We aim to do the ordinary things extraordinarily well.
Responsibilities
You will deliver the UAL Level 1 Diploma in Art, Design and Media and the UAL Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design. You will provide industry skills and knowledge to eager students and be key in driving course development to ensure it remains relevant and meets contemporary industry needs. This includes:
* Delivering lectures and practical sessions in Adobe Photoshop or Procreate.
* Demonstrating competence in drawing, painting, design principles, colour theory, composition, perspective, anatomy, and various mediums.
* Providing prompt, accurate, and detailed assessment of student work at key stages during the academic year.
Qualifications & Experience
Desirable but not essential:
* Teaching experience and relevant qualifications.
* Competence in Adobe Photoshop or Procreate.
* Knowledge of art history and industry practices.
* Ability to adapt teaching style to support a diverse range of students.

Working Hours & Start Date
37 hours per week, based at our Luton Campus. The closing date for applications is Friday 20 th March 2026. The successful candidate will join our team from August 2026.
