Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a proactive and skilled M&E Engineer to join a well-established engineering team at a large commercial site in Northampton. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience looking to work in a stable, Monday to Friday role with a reputable employer.
Key Responsibilities as an M&E Engineer:

Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, distribution boards, and plant equipment
*
Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs, diagnosing faults quickly and effectively
*
Assist with small mechanical and electrical installations as part of site improvement works
*
Use computerised PPM systems to log tasks and report completed works
*
Occasionally travel to nearby sites for cover (e.g. Birmingham) – pool van provided
The Ideal M&E Engineer Will Have:
*
City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent qualification)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
*
Prior experience working in building maintenance or facilities management
*
Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems
*
Full UK Driving Licence
*
LVAP or HVAP qualification (advantageous – with additional pay)
