Are you passionate about making a difference to the health and wellbeing of Nottingham's communities? If so, we would love to hear from you! We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our growing public health team. We are looking for a Public Health Principal to provide leadership to our Inclusion Health team. The team works on a wide range of public health agendas, including alcohol and drug use, mental health, suicide prevention, severe multiple disadvantage, homelessness, asylum seeker and refugee health, gambling, domestic abuse, violence reduction and financial wellbeing. It is a busy but important and rewarding area!
What is Inclusion Health? The Inclusion Health team includes a Public Health Consultant, Public Health Principal, Senior Public Health Manager, Public Health Managers and a Public Health Commissioning Manager. The team also benefits from colleagues with expertise in involving those with lived experience of the issues we tackle.
We will work alongside your colleagues in the Inclusion Health team, as well as across the wider public health team and with partners, to make a real and tangible difference to the lives of those in Nottingham who are most vulnerable. You will use a variety of methods to assess and understand their needs, influence and implement strategies, re‑design services and pathways, evaluate our progress and much more!
