A leading fire protection contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Romford. This is a key role supporting projects across passive fire protection, fire stopping, fire doors, and wider compliance works.
The Role as a Quantity Surveyor
* Managing commercial aspects of fire protection projects from tender through to final account
* Preparing valuations, variations, cost reports, and contractual documentation
* Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure accurate cost control
* Supporting procurement, subcontractor management, and commercial forecasting
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
What We’re Looking For in a Quantity Surveyor
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fire protection, passive fire, fire stopping, or construction
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of relevant contracts (JCT/NEC)
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Based in or commutable to Romford
