7.5t Driver – £16.05 per hour – Delivery & Collection Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5-tonne driver to join a fast-paced, professional parcel delivery operation. This is an ongoing role offering competitive pay, consistent hours, and the opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading logistics providers.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Pay: £16.05 per hour
Deliveries & Collections: Approximately 15–20 stops per day
About the Role:
As a 7.5t driver, you will be responsible for completing both collections and deliveries, ensuring parcels are handled safely and delivered on schedule. You will work independently, managing your daily route efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This role requires attention to detail, punctuality, and a professional attitude at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a 7.5t vehicle safely and efficiently for daily collections and deliveries
* Load and unload goods with care, following all safety procedures
* Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with company policies
* Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
* Represent the company professionally at all customer interactions
* Meet daily delivery targets while ensuring parcels reach customers on time
What We’re Looking For:
* Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and tachograph card
* Previous experience driving a 7.5t vehicle in a delivery or logistics role
* Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your schedule
* Professional attitude with a focus on safety and customer service
