Your new role
The main responsibility of a Senior Infrastructure engineer is to manage the designing of roads, earthworks, foul sewers and storm drainage and cut and fill analysis for a range of large infrastructure projects. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.Key responsibilities of a Senior Infrastructure Engineer:
1. To undertake design, preparation of contract documentation and administration of construction for projects and designing of infrastructure including the design of roads, storm and foul sewerage schemes.
2. Oversee the development of schemes using digital terrain modelling software
3. To prepare project specifications involving both standard specifications prepared by external agencies and in-house specifications.
4. You must prepare Bills of Quantities, supervise engineers and technicians, attend the design team meetings and client consultations, organise site surveys and site investigations.
5. It is vital that procedures are in accordance with thepany’s Quality Management System.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, this client requires a candidate who has a Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably 2:1. Candidates must also have relevant experience in industrialmercial infrastructure projects, with good technical knowledge and fully versed with Civils 3D experience. Experience in engineering design and research is ideal.
