About the role
As an outstanding classroom practitioner, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education, the successful applicant:
• Must be able to motivate, challenge and inspire pupils to succeed in Drama
• Must be committed to improving the outcomes for all pupils
• Will hold high expectations of themselves and pupils
• Will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and improve practice in themselves and others
• Will be up to date with relevant pedagogy and apply this to their teaching
The successful applicant will be teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
Starting January 2026 until July 2026
Part-time (4 days pw)
£168 - £232 per day

Our client school is well regarded school with sixth form in the local area. Students here display high levels of commitment to their learning and achieve high grades at GCSE and A'Level. Behaviour for learning is good and disruption to lessons is minimal. The school benefits from a strong leadership team and a committed team of staff.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teacher of Drama you will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Be able to motivate, inspire and challenge students
3. Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
