We are looking to hire a Multi-Skilled Engineer who has passion to work in a food manufacturing industry with electrical and mechanical qualification.

• Must be able to work on 4 on 4 off shift pattern day and nights
• Ability to look after all machinery on site often including manual handling and working at height and varying ambient condition. i.e. freezer or boiler room
* Conduct routine inspections and carry out planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance on food processing machinery to ensure efficient performance and minimal downtime
* Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems, aiming to reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
* Ensure high completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) using Pirana, while minimising non-conformances in line with targets
* Undertake improvement works as required, focusing on reducing waste in time, materials, and resources
* Achieve Plant Uptime and Maintenance KPIs through effective maintenance practices
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, controls, and wiring on food production equipment in compliance with safety standards
* Perform regular checks on electrical panels, sensors, and components to ensure proper function and safety
* Maintain and repair mechanical systems such as motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes to support production reliability
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve mechanical issues and support continuous improvement
* Work with PLCs and HMIs to troubleshoot automation issues and support upgrades for improved efficiency
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
* Support audits, inspections, and remove or isolate defective equipment when required
* Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and inventory of spare parts
* Provide input for developing and refining maintenance procedures and best practices
* Communicate effectively between shifts and close work orders in CMMS/Shire, maintaining over 70% utilisation
* Liaise with and manage external contractors as needed
