Job Description:
Potentia Search is partnered with an award-winning membrane technology company involved in water treatment, wastewater reuse, and potable water production. They seek to hire a talented Regional Sales Manager to expand their presence in the UK & Ireland.
The Regional Sales Manager contributes to achieving sales targets set by the Sales Director. The role involves customer contact with new and existing clients in the Water Business, selling membrane modules to OEMs, municipal, and industrial customers. Generating new leads and maintaining a strong network with water industry stakeholders in the region are also key responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the region.
* Preparing proposals and quotations.
* Coordinating sales activities with other departments.
* Attending trade fairs and preparing promotional materials.
* Maximizing sales and gross margins.
* Negotiating and closing sales contracts.
* Generating sales opportunities and leads.
* Supporting engineers during project delivery.
* Providing market feedback and identifying industry trends.
* Following up on offers and recording in CRM (Salesforce).
Candidate requirements:
* BSc. or MSc. in a technical or technical/commercial field.
* Sales experience, preferably in water or membrane technology.
* Experience with CRM systems.
* Strong time management skills.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Willingness to travel for customer contact.
