Your new role As Tax Manager, you will play a key role in leading the firm’s tax services, providing expert advice to a wide range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, and owner-managed businesses. Your responsibilities will include: Managing personal and corporate tax compliance Delivering tax planning and advisory services Mentoring and supporting junior staff Liaising with HMRC and other external bodies Assisting partners with business development and client relationship management This is a pivotal position, offering the opportunity to shape and grow the tax function. What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you will ideally have: A professional qualification such as CTA, ACCA, or CA Proven experience in a tax-focused role within practice Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation Excellent communication and client-facing skills A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving Familiarity with cloud-based accounting and tax software is a plus.
