Join to apply for the Special Education Needs Teacher role at Targeted Provision in Berkshire. This role focuses on providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs.

Role and responsibilities
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support learners referred by local authorities and schools with their educational and social-emotional journey
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* Plan each session and provide engaging, needs-based learning experiences
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance with obtaining at cost available)
* Two professional references
* Based in the UK with right to work in the UK, including for remote/online assignments
It is a strict requirement to promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and to follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment status
* This is a Worker engagement for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payments
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Company insurance covers the work
* This is not a self-employed position
