Element Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well established business in West Bristol who is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join a busy finance team. You'll need to be organised, adaptable, and comfortable working under pressure while handling sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and reconcile incoming payments across multiple accounts
* Monitor shared mailboxes and maintain accurate records in internal systems
* Raise and send invoices across various categories including monthly, ad-hoc, and annual fees
* Support with credit schedules, low liquidity monitoring, and fee arrears reconciliations
* Set up and maintain direct debits and update client details as needed
* Liaise with internal teams and external clients to resolve queries and ensure timely payments
* Assist other teams within the accounts department as required
Skills & Experience:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proactive, with an analytical approach to solving problems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
* Comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications
* A team player with a professional and discreet approach to sensitive data
