We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Home Manager to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art, luxurious care home in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in developing a strong, quality-focused care team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older adults who choose to reside with us.
As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, with full autonomy to lead and shape the direction of the service. You will be actively involved in the commissioning process, including the recruitment of your care team, and work closely with both the residents and their families to ensure their care and needs are met to the highest standard.
We are looking for someone with a proven background in leadership, financial management, and CQC compliance, who can lead a team to excellence while ensuring the home operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
As the Home Manager, strong leadership, coaching skills, and effective communication are essential. You will need to demonstrate empathy, engage team members, and work closely with families and residents.
Essential Skills & Experience for the Role:
* Proven management experience at a similar level within the healthcare industry
* A clinical background (ideally a registered nurse)
* Established leadership skills with experience managing large teams
* Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and manage time
* Strong commercial awareness and competency (care industry experience)
* In-depth knowledge of Care Inspectorate and local authority requirements and expectations
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior management capacity is desirable
