Job Overview
Fleet & Facilities Assistant at Princebuild Ltd. Provide outstanding service and support the Fleet and Facilities Department in the Spalding based department.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Fleet and Facilities Department with day-to-day responsibilities.
* Monitor and maintain the stores facility and yard area.
* Stocktake and plant/stock control.
* Conduct vehicle and plant inspections, PAT testing and vehicle/plant de-fleeting preparations.
* Prepare vehicles for de-fleeting and vehicle movements and cleaning.
* Manage waste control of on-site skips and waste storage bins.
* Act as key holder for opening facilities at the Gosberton Branch.
* Support movement of goods between depots in company van.
* Update and maintain relevant cost spreadsheet.
* Order and contact suppliers for plant and materials.
* Provide administrative support and data input for department systems and processes.
* Identify and implement improvements to service delivery.
* Ensure acceptable levels of customer care at all times.
* Contribute to and attend meetings.
* Provide cover for other staff during absence.
* Use bespoke computer system, Word, Excel and Project.
* Fulfil reasonable requests of additional tasks from the fleet and facilities team.
* Duty variation in line with progress.
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent IT skills, competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Good organisational skills, able to prioritise to meet deadlines.
* Work methodically and quickly.
* Outstanding time management and attention to detail.
* Self‑motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic.
* Willingness to undertake training programmes as deemed necessary by the Company.
* Positive attitude and ability to integrate into the team.
* Current UK driving licence with at least 6 months driving experience.
Terms of Employment
Full‑time position, 39 hours per week. Daily travel and possible working away as necessary.Hours: 07:15 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:15 – 15:00 Friday.
