About the role Up to £30,000 dependent on experience | Full Time | On site We are looking for a proactive and detail‑orientated QA Officer to join the Tangerine Group Quality team. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring products and processes meet the highest quality standards across the business. You’ll be responsible for coordinating QA activities, investigating issues, maintaining compliance with GMP requirements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a varied and hands‑on role, working cross‑functionally with teams including Production, R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Customer Services. What you’ll be doing As QA Officer, you will support the delivery of high quality standards across the Group, with responsibilities including: Complaints & investigations Managing and investigating customer complaints and returned stock Identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) Escalating any potential SARs/SAEs and supporting investigation processes Document control & quality systems Managing document updates, change requests and controlled documentation Supporting artwork control and quality system improvements Assisting with action requests and ensuring timely implementation Validation & stability Supporting validation activities (equipment, cleaning and processes) Conducting stability studies, including protocol generation, data analysis and reporting Monitoring trends and ensuring compliance Deviations & compliance Supporting out‑of‑specification (OOS) and deviation investigations Ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented Assisting with product quality reviews and audit preparation General QA activities Supporting supplier approval and ongoing monitoring Reviewing batch documentation, maintenance and calibration records Producing reports including KPIs, complaint summaries and trend data Cross‑functional support Working collaboratively with departments including QC, Production and Regulatory Providing occasional support to QC teams where required Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function What we’re looking for To be successful in this role, you will have: A Science degree or at least 2 years’ experience in a similar QA role. Strong investigative and problem‑solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Good IT skills and experience working with quality systems Strong communication skills, both written and verbal You will also be: Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure A proactive self‑starter with a continuous improvement mindset A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
