Overview

Assistant Facilities Manager required in Manchester to manage 1 leased space and 1 serviced office for a global financial services client who JLL have an established relationship with.

The AFM will report directly into the Senior Facilities Manager based in London. We are looking for someone to be a self-starter, passionate FM professional who can work alone and as part of a wider EMEA team.


Responsibilities

* Building operations, service contracts, financial management
* Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and the level of spending with Minority/Women owned Business Enterprises
* Coordinate discussions with selected vendors or suppliers regarding goal setting, performance criteria, and performance review
* Support sourcing and site managers through procurement
* Ensure compliance with JLL minimum operational audit and safety standards
* Establish relationships with client site leads, business partners such as EHS leads and FM clientele to establish trust and credibility
* Work with the Facility Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance, repair, custodial, security and other building services
* Assist in the development and management of the annual operating budgets
* Implement site-level innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity. Encourage team to be innovative in client service / problem solving.
* Lead in participation of local JLL and Account innovation programs. Redeploy innovations learnt from other account teams. Demonstrate to Client JLL innovation effort
* Play an important role with dual responsibilities for communication and reporting
* Follow JLL reporting protocols for all commercial, costing and billing for the FM contract
* Respond to Client service related reports / communication


Competencies And Experience

* Proficiency in a range of IT tools and platforms
* Experience in vendor management
* Strong analytical, organization and presentation skills
* 2 years in facilities management or related
* BS or Associates in facilities, property, business or related
