For the successful General Operative our client is offering:
1. Competitive starting rate paying up to £13.50 (£27,378)
2. Days - 7am - 4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays
3. Permanent Position within a thriving company
4. Salary reviews
5. 25 days + bank holidays
6. Regular Overtime opportunities paid at time & a half after 39 hours are completed
7. Free on site parking
8. Opportunities to learn new skills as training will be involved
The Role - General Operative:
9. Ensuring that shopfloor is clean, safe & tidy
10. Assembly
11. Packing of items
12. Storing tools away
13. General housekeeping
14. Bringing kits out for the team on the shopfloor
15. Helping out in various sections of the shopfloor
16. Reporting into the Production Manager
What our client is looking for in a General Operative:
17. Able to use hand & power tools
18. Must be very flexible to perform various duties around the shopfloor
19. Must be punctual & reliable
20. Demonstrate experience in a engineering/mechanics/manufacturing based environment with an understanding of the importance of safety in the workplace
