An exciting opportunity has arisen within Digital Services for an enthusiastic, versatile and self‑motivated Business Intelligence Officer.
The role will sit within the Council’s newly formed central Data and Analytics Service alongside other Officers who provide business intelligence, data collection and data expertise to support the operational management and strategic planning of services across the Council. The role provides a varied and challenging development opportunity working across a wider team. This will include the following responsibilities:
* Extracting data from systems for analysis using interrogative languages (eg. SQL). This will primarily be from the Social Care Case Management System, however will also include a variety of other systems used across the Council.
* Matching data from a range of sources to produce dashboards and analysis to present to a range of audiences.
* Deliver statutory returns.
* Respond to requests for information.
