Job Description:
* Plan and deliverengaging,thought-provokinglessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5
* Promote astimulatingandinclusiveclassroom environment that encouragesdebate,analysis, andhistorical enquiry
* Use a variety ofassessment strategiesto monitor progress and inform planning
* Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and participate incross-curricular initiatives
* Support students inGCSE preparation,coursework, andenrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience teaching History at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
* Be asubject specialistwith a strong grasp of British and world history, and a passion forstorytellingandcontextual learning
* Demonstrateexcellent classroom management,organisation, andcommunication skills
* Be committed toinclusive education,student wellbeing, andsafeguarding
* Be enthusiastic aboutcontinuous professional developmentandteam collaboration
