Role Overview:
We are recruiting experienced Pipefitters to support mechanical installation and maintenance activities on a long-term project. This role involves working to detailed drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality, safe installation of piping systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, assemble, and fit pipework systems to specification
* Read and interpret isometric drawings and technical documents
* Carry out pipe cutting, threading, bending, and fitting
* Align pipework and prepare for welding activities
* Work closely with welders and supervisors to ensure efficient delivery
* Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and quality standards
* Follow permit-to-work systems and site procedures
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial environment
* Ability to read and work from isometric drawings
* Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques and processes
* Experience working with carbon and stainless steel pipework
* Valid trade qualifications or apprenticeship
* Strong commitment to health & safety
* Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable:
* Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g. nuclear, oil & gas, or similar)
* Previous site-based project experience
* Additional mechanical or fabrication skills
