Base pay range
Salary: £47,181 to £51,356 per annum
Grade: M
Contract: Permanent
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire
The Role
* Line manage a team of HR Advisers who provide advice and guidance to managers on employment and employee relations issues, including delivery of specific services working with managers to achieve service aims and targets.
* Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of your team of HR Advisers.
* Drive standards and improvements through the HR Advisory team and wider HR structure.
* Ensure the team, in conjunction with other HR colleagues, provides support to managers in the development of effective management of staff, challenging and changing management behaviour and practices as required.
* Assist in the identification and implementation of effective HR practice, through use of HR Data and policy development.

What you can bring
* Your experience of line management within an HR Advisory service.
* Demonstrable knowledge of all elements of employee relations issues and legislation, including the change management process.
* Proven and effective generalist HR experience and complex HR casework.
* Understanding of performance frameworks, approaches, targets and data.
* Your awareness and understanding of organisational context and its impact on services and workforce.
* Your experience of working in a corporate and political context within a unionised environment.
* Your experience of effective analysis and utilisation of key HR Data sets.
