A fast‑growing international events business is looking to hire an Event Director to lead commercial delivery and growth across a flagship exhibition within the consumer and lifestyle space. This is a senior, hands‑on sales role with responsibility for driving revenue through exhibition space and sponsorship partnerships.

The Opportunity
This role sits at the forefront of a flagship consumer exhibition focused on a fast‑growing health and lifestyle category. You will take ownership of commercial performance, selling exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities to a range of consumer brands while also contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the event. The role requires a mix of new business generation and account management, supported by marketing‑generated leads as well as proactive outreach.
With short sales cycles (typically around two weeks), strong repeat business and an established exhibitor base already in place, this is an opportunity to step into a high‑performing show with clear revenue potential.
What Youll Be Doing
* Selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages to consumer brands
* Managing and growing relationships with existing exhibitors
* Generating new business through outbound activity and industry networking
* Working closely with marketing and operations teams to deliver successful events
* Taking ownership of pipeline, forecasting and revenue delivery
* Contributing to the long‑term growth and development of the event portfolio
What Theyre Looking For
Experience Requirements:
* Strong B2B sales experience within exhibitions, events or sponsorship
* Proven track record of selling stand space and/or partnerships
* Experience managing accounts and driving repeat business
* Comfortable working cross‑functionally with internal teams
Character:
* Organised, composed and commercially driven
* Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships quickly
* Self‑sufficient and proactive
* Ambitious with a desire to progress within an events environment
Package
* £50,000-£60,000 basic salary
* Uncapped commission (30% OTE)
* Hybrid working - minimum 3 days per week in office
