The role - Part-time Bookkeeper
Location: Glasgow (East)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Part Time
Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a part-time opportunity in the manufacturing and production sector? Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-time Bookkeeper to join their team. If you have proficiency in Sage 50, and a knack for Excel, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks that are essential to our client's operations, including:
* Posting invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Managing credit control procedures to ensure timely payments.
* Processing purchase invoicing with attention to detail.
* Performing nominal coding to maintain accurate records.
* Conducting reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
* Assisting with cash flow management to support business operations.
* Handling general administrative tasks to support the finance team.
* Answering incoming phone calls to address queries and provide support.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Previous bookkeeping experience.
* Proficiency in Sage 50, with a strong understanding of its functionalities.
* Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
* A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all financial tasks.
* Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
