We are looking to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We pride ourselves on achieving the best possible outcomes for all our pupils and we currently have some children who need help to access all that we can offer. The role will be split between providing one-to-one support for an individual for much of the day and also leading some targeted interventions for small groups. The successful candidate will be friendly and patient but with high expectations and experience of managing potentially challenging behaviour. The hours of work will be 8.15 – 3.15pm and will initially be fixed term until 22nd July 2026 with the potential to extend for the right candidate. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed so please call the school office to arrange a tour with the SLT The successful candidate is required to contribute to the overall aims and ethos of Harwood Hill and all staff are required to participate in training and other learning activities.
