Bid Writer - North/North East London (On-site)
We are looking for a skilled Bid Writer to join the preconstruction/bid team within my main contractor client. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who thrives on producing high-quality, compelling bid submissions and tender responses within the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and produce professional responses for tenders, proposals, and presentations.
Conduct thorough research and gather information from cross-functional teams.
Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Maintain an up-to-date repository of materials to support future bids.
Contribute to process improvements and ensure submissions meet deadlines.
What We Are Looking For:
3+ years' experience in a construction environment.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling content.
Strong project and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
Knowledge of construction, property development, or experience working with Local Authorities is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
