Art Teacher – Outstanding School – Croydon
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon is seeking a talented and passionate Art Teacher to join their vibrant and successful Art and Design department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
Responsibilities:
The successful Art Teacher will plan and deliver inspiring and engaging lessons across a range of artistic disciplines (e.g., drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital media). You will foster creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills in students, creating a supportive studio environment where artistic expression thrives. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to the department's exhibitions and extracurricular activities are key aspects of this Art Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Art Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Fine Art, Design, or a related field. Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary level is required. A strong portfolio demonstrating artistic skill, along with excellent communication and classroom management abilities, is essential. We need an inspiring Art Teacher to join our team.
