We are looking for a care assistant to support our client with personal care and daily living in her accommodation in Leeds. Join her team of PAs to provide her personal car and independent living support.
Location: Leeds (term time) / Ilkley (off term time)
Shift Pattern: Live in for when at uni 7 days on / 7 days off / Hourly for summer when client is at home
Start Date: ASAP
Pay & Benefits
* Pay: £170 per day
* Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
* Bespoke training in the client’s particular requirements will be given
* On-call support from client coordinator
About Our Client
Our client is a young university student, currently studying English Literature at Leeds Beckett University. She lives with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, which profoundly weakens three of her limbs, meaning everyday tasks such as navigating campus and travelling become a challenge.
Our client needs full-time comprehensive support to help meet her needs, including assisting her with mobility, personal care and general support. You will support our client at home on a live-in basis in Headingley, and will be required to provide daily support at her home in Ilkley over the holidays.
As well as being a book-lover, our client loves to get out and about, including going to restaurants, gigs and the cinema to name a few!

* Fluent in English.
* Calm, patient and caring with a friendly approach and a good sense of humour.
* Of smart appearance and have a sense of pride in your work.

* A good conversationalist but also a good listener.
* Reliable and organised, whilst being able to maintain excellent standards.
* Respect for our client’s privacy and an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
No care experience is needed as full bespoke training in the client’s particular requirements will be provided.
