KS1 PE Teaching Assistant – Edgbaston

Daily Rate: £90 – £100 per day
Elevate Supply is working with a welcoming primary school in Edgbaston to recruit a KS1 PE Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for graduates in Sports Science, PE, or a related field who are looking to gain experience in a school setting and support the physical development of children aged 5–7.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of PE and physical activities in KS1
* Help lead structured play, movement sessions, and group games
* Encourage pupil participation, coordination, and motor skills development
* Work alongside class teachers to promote active learning
* Assist with classroom activities and general support when needed
What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related subject
* A confident, positive, and proactive approach to working with children
* Good communication skills and the ability to engage younger pupils
* Some experience working with children is a bonus, but not essential
* Willingness to learn and support across various activities in school
