Job Description & Information
* Job Title: Operations Manager
* Responsible to: Lead Pastor
* Hours: 21 hours per week (mid‑week flexible; office open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays)
* Contract: Permanent with 3‑month probation
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
* Lead day‑to‑day church operations, systems, administration, and team coordination.
* Plan and oversee Sundays, events, projects, bookings, and annual calendar management.
* Support staff, volunteers, safeguarding, communications, and internal processes.
* Manage governance, compliance, finance administration, and reporting requirements.
* Oversee church buildings, facilities, contractors, health & safety, and site maintenance.
* Coordinate baptisms, weddings, funerals, and external hall/church bookings.
* Work closely with the Lead Pastor, ministry leads, PCC, and serving teams to ensure smooth and sustainable church operations.
Additional Duties
Additional duties and support as agreed with the Lead Pastor.
