As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our technical team and ensure all technical work is well-documented and tested and adheres to medical device quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support our technical team in maintaining quality records and ensuring all software is well-documented and tested and compliant with medical device quality standards and regulatory requirements. This is a key role that will help drive the consistency and reliability of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain stringent quality control measures and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and organise quality records for software documentation
* Promote quality principles and best practices
* Ensure software documentation adheres to medical device quality standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304
* Support the technical team in running and creating test scripts, tracking test results, and identifying issues
* Execute manual and automatic testing processes as required
* Maintain and submit paperwork for technical audits and general audits at regular intervals, ensuring all required documents are up-to-date and compliant
* Assist with the continuous improvement of quality processes and systems

* An understanding of software testing principles and an interest in writing or improving test scripts and systems
Nice to have:
* Experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of automated tests
* Exposure to non-functional testing (performance, security) and regression testing.
